How to Pick Your Yearbook Photo
HOW YEARBOOK PHOTOS WORK
For schools with a yearbook, we offer a convenient Yearbook Selection Tool in our gallery. This lets students choose their favorite portrait for the yearbook before the school’s deadline.
Additional notes about yearbook photos:
- Your school may allow one or two yearbook pose selections.
- If you don’t see the option, this means your school is not using this tool
- Selections can be changed until the deadline—after that, they are locked and sent to your school’s yearbook contact.
- Important: Clicking the ❤️ (heart) icon only saves favorites for shopping. It does not submit a yearbook pose.
HOW TO SELECT YOUR YEARBOOK PHOTO
- Log in to your gallery.
- Click the “Choose Yearbook Pose” tab at the top of the screen.
- Click “Select a Photo” and choose your favorite portrait.
- Be sure to review the “Instructions” on the screen when selecting your yearbook photos, as your school may have specific guidelines for the yearbook.
- Click “Confirm”.
- If your school allows two poses, you’ll be prompted to select pose #2.
The Yearbook photo selection will remain visible in the cart but no changes can be made after the deadline has passed.
DO STUDENTS RECEIVE REMINDERS?
If your school provide us parent emails, families will receive email reminders to select their yearbook image. If we do not have emails for families, the most up-to-date info, such as deadlines, can be found on a school's Picture Day Page, also linked in the email as “Help Center”.
MISSED THE DEADLINE?
If no pose is selected by the deadline:
- We will choose one for you.
- If you need to request a change after the deadline, purchase a digital file to send to your school’s yearbook person.
- We recommend checking with your school’s yearbook coordinator first to confirm if changes can still be made before purchasing the digital file.
WILL THE YEARBOOK PHOTO BE RETOUCHED?
Yearbook photos will only be retouched if retouching is purchased.
- If retouching is purchased before the yearbook deadline, we will automatically send your school the retouched version.
- If retouching is purchased after the deadline, and you’d like the retouched version used, you’ll need to purchase the digital file and send it to your school’s yearbook coordinator.
- We recommend checking with your school’s yearbook coordinator first to confirm if changes can still be made before purchasing the digital file.
